By using Where's My Book?, you agree to use the service responsibly and lawfully.

The service

Where's My Book? provides unique identifiers and journey pages that allow physical books to be voluntarily passed between readers and logged by city-level location. Tracking depends on future readers choosing to participate, so no particular book is guaranteed to receive another check-in.

Your responsibilities

• Submit accurate information to the best of your knowledge.
• Do not submit home addresses, private addresses, or sensitive personal information.
• Do not use the service for harassment, surveillance, fraud, spam, or unlawful activity.
• Do not leave books where doing so is prohibited, unsafe, or disruptive.
• Do not upload or enter unlawful, threatening, abusive, or infringing content.

Book ownership and sharing

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to give away, lend, or otherwise circulate a physical book. Registering a book does not change ownership rights in the book or in the copyrighted work it contains.

Accounts

Accounts are optional. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in information secure and for activity associated with your account.

Moderation

The site administrator may remove books, journey entries, accounts, or other content that appears to be test data, spam, abusive, unsafe, unlawful, or inconsistent with these terms.

Availability

The service is provided on an evolving basis and may change, experience interruptions, or discontinue features. No guarantee is made that a particular book record or journey will remain available forever.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the service develops. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
